Barcelona: here's Guardiola's contract

Pep Guardiola's basic salary is one of the lowest of any coach in charge of one of Europe's major clubs, but his earnigns could triple if Barcelona win all three trophies they are still playing for, a report has revealed.

The Blaugrana boss agreed to a deal based heavily on incentives when he took over at Camp Nou last summer, at a time when few would have expected him or the team to reach those targets.

As a basic salary, Guardiola earns €1.5 million-per-year, which is nowhere near the huge amounts that coaches such as Jose Mourinho, Juande Ramos and many English managers are on, El Mundo Deportivo state.
