Diego would like to play for Real Madrid

Brazilian playmaker, Diego, admitted today that any footballer would love to play for Real Madrid - and he would too. The Werder Bremen maestro is widely believed to be leaving Germany this summer and it was thought that Juventus would be his likely destination.

However, not only did he hint at a Real Madrid move today with the words he said, but also by the way he said them. In an interview with German newspaper Die Welt, he spoke in Portuguese throughout, except when questioned about his future, when he switched to Spanish.

He admitted that Real Madrid are a club that anyone would like to be at, and that he is no different. "Any footballer would love to play there and that includes me. Madrid are a team who are always fighting for titles on the continent, a great historic club," he declared.
